September Highlights: New Clubs, Creative Minds, and Inspiring Journeys!
September has been buzzing with activity here at Club B Learning Labs with the launch of some fantastic new programs! We've kicked off three amazing clubs/classes: Comics in Calvert County, Study Skills at the Southern Community College (CSM) LaPlata campus, and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) classes.
First up, our budding artists are diving into the world of adventure and emotions through Comics. They're bringing their characters to life with vibrant storylines and expressive illustrations.
In our Study Skills class, youth are getting to know themselves better by identifying their unique learning styles. They took a personality intelligence test and crafted dazzling personality portraits. Talk about self-discovery vibes!
Oh, and the book "I Promise" by LeBron James has been a hit! Our young readers have been inspired to persevere through challenges, make wise decisions, and stay committed to their education. Go team!
But that’s not all—our creative geniuses also ventured into the poetic world of Haikus. They counted syllables and created powerful affirmations. Who knew counting could be this fun?
